15 terrorists arrested in rocket attacks in Lewe Township

In response to reports from residents regarding explosions in Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, on the morning of 16 July, security forces rushed into the area and found that three rockets have exploded near Kyankhin and Kantha villages, causing no damage to people or buildings.
Afterwards, security forces conducted a search in the surrounding area and discovered four damaged rocket launchers and three ready-to-fire rocket launchers near Aung Setana Village. The rockets that had not yet been fired were systematically defused, and the surrounding area was searched. Security forces arrested Pyae Phyo Aung (aka) Nauksae, and Thet Khaing Tun (aka) Ko Thet, from Hayman Village of Lewe Township in connection with the rocket firings. According to the investigation results, necessary procedures are being conducted on 15 suspects involved in the incident, in order to take effective action against the accused. — MNA/TH
