The real estate market in Yangon Region’s Hmawby Township, which was quiet in June, increases back in July, according to local real estate service agencies.
Transactions are happening in Hmawby’s downtown wards: extended wards 1, 2, 3 and 4 and there are buyers in villages of the township.
“Prices are good now. Transactions were low last month. However, transactions are happening almost weekly this month,” said a local estate agent.
The property market in Hmawby and Taikkyi townships developed between January and March this year and slowed in April, however gradually increased back this month. Depending on location, price of a 20 ft-60 ft land plot in Hmawby and Taikkyi townships varies. — Thit Taw/ZS/ED
