Applications for the 96th TOPIK exam will be accepted from 1 to 4 August, stated the Myanmar Embassy to the Republic of Korea.
The 96th TOPIK exam is scheduled to take place on 13 October 2024 (Sunday) from 9:40 am to 4:20 pm. TOPIK I is in the morning, and TOPIK II is in the evening at the University of Yangon/ Hlaing Campus.
Applications can be submitted from 1 to 4 August at Toungoo Hall (Department of Myanmar), Dagon Road, University of Yangon (Kamarut Campus) from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. Applicants must come in person if they live within area where the place of application is located and those who live outside the area can submit via represented person but the represented person must be relatives and copy of applicant’s NRC card and original of represented person’s CSC card is required, said the embassy.
Except for applicants, no one is allowed to enter the campus, and applicants must bring two 3-centimetre by 4-centimetre photos and a CSC card or driver’s license or passport required. Recommendations from the respective ward, police station or household lists are acceptable if they don’t have the above-mentioned documents. Only those who bring a CSC card are allowed to enter the campus.
The exam fee is US$25; therefore, applicants will need to exchange dollars before they come to submit, and exchange service won’t be provided at all at the place of application, it said. — MT/ZS/ED
