According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Myanmar’s Chargé d’Affaires ad interim in Canberra U Thet Tun attended the ASEAN Committee in Canberra (ACC) meeting on 12 July.
The Philippine Embassy, serving as the alternate chair of the ACC, organized the meeting at the Commonwealth Club.
The meeting approved the minutes from the previous meeting (2/2024) held in Canberra. It also discussed ACC activities planned for implementation during the Philippine Embassy’s chairmanship from July to December 2024. Additionally, attendees discussed the ASEAN Day Reception and the ASEAN-Australia Business Forum. — ASH/TMT
