Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint received Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Myanmar Mrs Ponnamperuma Arachchige Prabashini Ponnamperuma at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday morning.
They cordially discussed promoting the friendship between the two countries through educational cooperation between Myanmar and Sri Lanka, applied research collaboration aiding MSMEs, the establishment of partner universities and private university investment.
Director-General Dr Win Tun of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, the deputy permanent secretary, deputy directors-general and officials attended the meeting. — MNA/TS
