State Administration Council Member Mahn Nyein Maung, accompanied by Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and relevant officials, attended the demonstration of paddy cultivation of the No 57 Agricultural Mechanization Centre (Pantanaw) of the Agricultural Mechanization Department, in Sutaungpyae Village of Pantanaw Township in Maubin District yesterday.
The SAC member and party first observed the paddy cultivation demonstration, met with the local farmers and discussed matters related to meeting the target plantation.
They proceeded to 189.96 acres wide fish farm that boasts 92,000 fish in eight fish farms in Kyontainggyi village in Pantanaw and made proper instructions.
Moreover, they headed to a 180-acre dwarf coconut plantation in Yinkadit village of Danubyu township and observed the plantation areas.
Similarly, the SAC member and party inspected the pig farming site of Htoo Htet Han Company Limited in Bawaing village-tract, Pantanaw Township, and officials from the pig farm explained the breeding processes.
Moreover, they attended the handover ceremony of inputs and quality seeds of crops for the 2024-2025 monsoon paddy using the State Economic Promotion Fund at the Community Centre in Pantanaw Township.
During the event, the SAC member met local farmers and presented inputs, seeds and one six-row hand-roll paddy transplanter. — MNA/KTZH
