Local travel company offers instalment payments to boost tourism

Let’s Travel Easily, a local travel company, announced plans for an instalment payment system to help travellers visit Kalaw-Inlay and Bagan-NyaungU.
“This programme allows travellers to pay for their trip in three instalments. After paying half of the total cost, they can start their visit and will have two months to pay the remaining amount. Some travel companies accept payment over six months or up to one year, and some banks offer travel loans. Several tour operators use this payment system. This initiative aims to promote the local tourism sector,” said an official from Let’s Travel Easily.
Those wishing to travel using the instalment system must provide a photocopy of their citizenship scrutiny card, a photocopy of the household list, and recommendation letters from their ward or township administrator and the HR department of their employer. — ASH/MKKS
