Myanmar Embassy in Thailand has called on family and contacts of Ma Htet Htet Zaw, who allegedly died from being brutally beaten by her husband in Thailand, to connect it so that the cremation of the body can be made.
Due to being beaten brutally by her husband, Ma Htet Htet Zaw was hospitalized at Buddhachinaraj Hospital in Phisanulok on 2 April 2024 and died on 6 April, the embassy said in an announcement. The body was sent to Mae Sot hospital in order for her family to claim it but nobody comes yet until now, that is why the hospital informed the embassy by post to help contacting the family or proceeding with the law, it said.
