Deputy Minister U Lwin Oo meets Mr Chen Chen, Consul-General of the Chinese Consulate-General in Mandalay, yesterday.

U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Chen Chen, Consul-General of the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Mandalay, who has completed his tour of duty, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
They cordially discussed matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing “Pauk-Phaw” relations between Myanmar and China, the maintenance of peace and stability along the Myanmar-China border, the acceleration of Myanmar-China bilateral relations, and the mutually beneficial cooperation in both regional and international arena, especially in ASEAN and United Nations. — MNA
