Yangon sets fixed prices for four types of fertilizers

The Myanmar Fertilizer, Seed and Agrochemical Entrepreneurs Association has published Yangon dock reference prices for four types of fertilizers.
On June 25, 2024, the Urea Fertilizer Purchasing and Distribution Steering Committee will release the schedule.
Fertilizers, which are mainly used by farmers, are released for sale according to Yangon dock prices.
The set fertilizer price is K73,000 per bag of 50 kilogrammes of urea fertilizer (large lumps). One kilo bag of 15 round Rock Phosphate base is (K100,000), Di Ammonium Phosphate Base (15) is K115,000 per kilo bag, and Complex 15 is K122,000 per kilo bag.
It is also stated that the above prices are the Yangon dock prices and may change slightly depending on regional transport costs.
Reference prices will be published in accordance with the specifications.
The Myanmar Fertilizer, Seed and Agrochemical Entrepreneurs Association stated that if the above-mentioned items are not sold in line with the reference prices, complaints can be made. — TPT
