The Lethwei Championship for a new generation, supervised by the Myanmar Lethwei Federation and sponsored by Lone Chaw Lethwei (LCL) Group, will be held in Theinbyu Gymnasium in Yangon on 30 June.
With the aim of creating new Myanmar traditional boxers (Lethwei fighters), the Lethwei championship will include 30 fights featuring men’s two-round bouts, men’s special three-round bouts and women’s three bouts.
Newcomers, mainly from Myanma Lethwei, former Champion Lone Chaw Club, will compete in this championship. The Lethwei championship will begin at noon local time and tickets are priced at K20,000 and K10,000, respectively. — Arka Lin/KZL
