Music fans invited to Myanmar Music Day celebration at National Theatre

According to U Lwin Myint, the chairperson of the Myanmar Music Association (Central), music enthusiasts are invited to attend the Music Festival for Myanmar Music Day at the National Theatre on 27 June.
“At 5 pm on 27 June, the grand Myanmar Music Day celebration will be held by the Myanmar Music Association (Central) under the supervision of the Ministry of Information. Renowned Myanmar studio bands and singers will perform at the event. Music lovers can collect tickets at the National Theatre, the Myanmar Music Association (Central), and Township Music Association Offices starting at 10 am from 24 to 26 June,” said U Lwin Myint.
This commemorative ceremony for Myanmar Music Day is held annually by the association and is broadcast on Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV).
Additionally, the first Music Academy event will be inaugurated in Nay Pyi Taw in October, where nine categories of music awards, including traditional, studio, modern, and international music, are planned to be awarded. — ASH/TRKM
