Stimulant tablets captured in Nawnghkio, Loilem townships

According to the Myanmar Police Force, stimulant tablets were seized in Nawnghkio and Loilem townships.
A combined team comprising members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a Soueast car driven by Sai Tun Hla (aka) Tun Hla accompanied by Saw Moe Kyaw Thu in Nawnghkio Township at 3 pm on 21 June and found 500,000 stimulant tablets.
After interrogating Sai Tun Hla and Saw Moe Kyaw Thu, the Anti-Drug Police Force arrested Sai Moe Myint Thu, who was involved in the drug transport, with a Soueast vehicle and MMK 540,000, at 2:30 pm near Khayon village in Kyaikmayaw Township on 22 June.
Additionally, the police force searched the house of Sai Mya in Loilem Township at 12:30 pm on 23 June and captured 5,000 stimulant tablets and three kilogrammes of raw opium.
They have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
