Stimulant tablets seized in Pyigyidagun, Tachilek townships

Myanmar Police Force announced the seizure of stimulant tablets in Pyigyidagun and Tachilek townships.
A combined team comprising members of Drug Enforcement Division searched a motorbike driven by Win Aung accompanied by Kyaw Toe Aung and a motorbike driven by Khin Zaw in Pyigyidagun Township at night on 20 June. Police seized 12,600 stimulant tablets and 0.666 kilogramme of pieces of stimulant tablets.
The police examined Aye Min (aka) Wam Aye in Weinkyauk Ward of Tachilek at 4:30 pm on 21 June and captured 2,000 stimulant tablets.
Action was taken against those offenders under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
