Malicious news media are spreading false news that the joint security forces and PDF terrorists attacked yesterday morning in Singu Township, Mandalay Region, and the security forces opened fire with heavy weapons. As a result of the shooting, one person from the village of Htonegyi was killed, and two others were injured.
According to a resident, there is no truth about the incident and security forces are conducting security operations in the area, but there was no gunfire yesterday morning.
Subversive media outlets are intentionally inciting and circulating false stories about the security forces in and around the areas where the security forces arrive, in order to create illusions and fear among the public. — MNA/KZL
