Agricultural produce such as rice, beans, pulses, maize, and sesame are the main products that earn the most foreign income. In the 2024-2025 financial year, it is estimated to export 1.89 million tonnes of beans and pulses, and it has already exported 0.438 million tonnes in the first quarter of this financial year.
Over 0.466 million tonnes of beans and pulses were exported in April and May of this financial year, so the figures show an increase exceeding the target.
Exporters, the Myanmar Pulses, Beans, Maize and Sesame Seeds Merchants Association and departmental officials work together to meet the target in June.
