Team Japan arrives in Myanmar for World Cup qualifiers

The Japanese national team arrived in Yangon on the morning of 4 June to play against the Myanmar team as a group match for the second stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The Japanese squad sees 26 players, including Tomiyasu from Arsenal FC, Endo from Liverpool FC, Kamada from Lazio FC, Minamino from Monaco FC, Kubo from Real Sociedad, and Ueda from Feyenoord FC will join the Japanese squad. After arriving in Myanmar on the morning of 4 June, they held their first practice at the Thuwunna Training Ground in the evening.
Team Myanmar will play World Cup qualifiers against the Japanese squad at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon at 6:40 pm on 6 June. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
