Union Health Minister inspects Thanlyin Township People’s Hospital

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, along with the rector (Medical Superintendent/Treatment) from Yangon General Hospital, deputy directors-general, directors, and officials, inspected Thanlyin Township People’s Hospital in Yangon Region on 18 May.
The Union minister first met the medical superintendent, specialists, nurses, medical professionals, and health workers in the hospital’s meeting hall. The superintendent of the hospital explained the conditions and activities to the Union minister. The Union minister then provided support and addressed needs.
He also gave guidance on supplying necessary medicines and hospital equipment, arranging training for relevant staff to perform intensive and gastroscopy treatments, conducting regular hospital-based vaccination work, and maintaining regular specialist field treatments.
In addition, the Union minister toured the emergency and outpatient departments, laboratory, x-ray room, operation theatre, intensive care unit, infirmary and specialist outpatient department of the Thanlyin Hospital. — MNA/TKO
