DPM MoFA Union Minister holds briefing on humanitarian assistance

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe held a briefing on humanitarian assistance to the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim and Representatives of the UN agencies in Myanmar at the Ayeyawady Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the briefing, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs stressed that the Government attaches great importance to delivering humanitarian assistance to the needy population and is ready to cooperate fully with the UN agencies.
The MoFA deputy minister and senior officials also joined the briefing, together with the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim, as well as representatives of the UN agencies in Myanmar. — MNA
