Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan met with the internally displaced persons at the KBC IDP camp near Mingna Village in Waingmaw Township of Kachin State on Friday.
During the meeting, the chief minister talked about his visit to the camp, aiming to comfort the people and to provide the necessary assistance for a second time.
Then, the chief minister and relevant officials of departments and associations presented cash assistance and K102,638,100 worth of foodstuffs, utensils, and clothes.
The chief minister and party then attended the closing ceremony of the eight-day basic Grammar and spoken language class for officers and staff of the state General Administration Department at the Kachin State government office.
At the event, the chief minister remarked, and the lecturer clarified the course.
Then, the chief minister and party gave a cash prize to the lecturer and the certificate of honour and cash prizes to the first, second and third prize winners in the Grammar and spoken language sessions. — State IPRD/KTZH
