Leaf Deer or Leaf Muntjac believed to be living in Nagmon

The Leaf Deer or Leaf Muntjac only found in Myanmar live in Nagmon Township that is located 1,800 feet above the sea level in PutaO District of Kachin State in northern part of Myanmar, according to Khakaborazi Wildlife Sanctuary Office.
The Khakaborazi National Park and Phonkanrazi National Park are well-known areas of ecosystem among ASEAN countries for having varieties of wild animals, resident birds, icefish, flora and fauna and migratory birds.
The Leaf Deer or Leaf Muntjac (Muntiacus putaoensis) is also called as PutaO barking deer. The black musk deer or dusky musk deer are also found in Phonkanrazi National Park, India, China, Bhutan and on ice.
The Leaf Deer or Leaf Muntjac was documented in Nagmon Township by a zoologist in 1997.
