Mandalay residents excited about using new electric three-wheeled motorcycles.

In Mandalay, a city where three-wheeled motorcycles have been used the most, people are highly interested in using EV three-wheeled motorbikes, according to Royal La Min Ta Yar Company, based on its initial market research data.
Currently, the company has planned to sell licensed EV Loujia for commercial use.
“We sell autos only here. We sell motorcycles in our town. In Mandalay, many people and hardware shops and auto parts shops in the industrial zone have asked about EV motorcycles so we tried to initiate this plan. EV motorcycles have gained a lot of attention. There are also buyers. These motorcycles are imported from China, it is for commercial-use and manufactured with electric recharger and battery,” said an official from the company.
Depending on battery, the EV Loujia three-wheeled motorcycle is priced from K3 million-K3.5 million to K4 million. It can be used from morning to evening if it is fully charged.
“At present, three-wheeled motorcycles have been used the most for carrying passengers. Three-wheeled motorcycles have been used widely these years. Now EV motorcycles have entered the market so we don’t know what will happen. I think we need to see how long its battery can last,” said a Mandalay resident, U Hla Wai. — Thit Taw/ZS/ED
