Myanmar earns over US$7.82 billion from finished industrial exports in current FY

According to the Ministry of Commerce, Myanmar has earned over US$7.82 billion from exporting finished industrial products between 1 April 2023 and 9 February 2024 of the current financial year 2023-2024.
The statistics released by the MoC show that this figure is more than US$1.88 billion less than that of the same period in the last financial year 2022-2023.
The report also states that more than US$4.92 billion was generated from the private export sector, whereas more than US$2.89 billion was generated from the state-owned sector.
Finished industrial products include garments, sugar, natural gas, and other industrial raw materials. Garments stand at the top among the ten most exported products. — TWA/TMT
