MAEX lends more than K2000million to shops at Danyingon Market in collaboration with three local banks

In collaboration with three local banks, Myanmar Agro Exchange Public Ltd (MAEX) has provided loans worth more than K2000 million for up to 180 shops at Danyingon Market.

In a ceremony held on 15 February at Danyingon wholesale market compound located in Insein township, Ayeyarwaddy Farmers Development Bank Limited (A Bank) offered MSME micro loans to shops at the market.

The ceremony is the first time that MAEX lent K496.5million to 47 shop owners at the market in cooperation with A Bank.

Including this time, MSME loans have been provided to shop owners for five batches in collaboration with UAB, AYA and A Bank, totaling K2428.5million loans to 186 shops.

MAEX will hold YRYEA EXPO 2024 at Yangon Convention Centre in Yangon from 23-25 February from 9:00am to 5:00pm and during the event, MAEX will sell shop houses and medium wholesale market located at Danyingon market at a discount of  K90million.
