2023-2024 Inter-State & Region Judo Competition concludes

The final game plus awarding ceremony of the 2023-2024 Inter-State and Region Judo competition was held at Wunna Theikdhi Gymnasium A in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The State Administration Council members enjoyed the final match between the Kachin State and Ayeyawady Region teams. The Kachin State team won over the Ayeyawady Region team after the match.
During the awarding ceremony, the State Administration Council members presented trophies to the winners of the Kachin State team and medals to the second-placed and third-placed teams, plus outstanding fighters of the men’s and women’s judo events.
The 2023-2024 Inter-State and Region Judo competition was held from 8 to 12 January with 14 men’s teams and 14 women’s teams with a total of 266 players to bring out new generations of athletes and raise the standard of Myanmar’s judo sports. — MNA/KZL
