Myanmar workers who would go to Japan were seen in 2023.

The Myanmar Embassy to Japan announced on 5 January that it will change the verification procedure for demand letters from Japanese enterprises to Myanmar workers.
To improve the efficiency of the Demand Letter verification procedure, the Myanmar Embassy will take appropriate action. While the Ministry of Labour forwarded demand letters to the Myanmar Embassy via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for verification, these letters will not be faxed to specific Japanese companies. They will be posted once a week on the Embassy’s website and Facebook.
Furthermore, the Embassy will review the data returned by the relevant Japanese companies. The list of confirmed companies will be forwarded to the Ministry of Labour via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These lists will be posted on the Embassy’s Facebook once every 15 days. — TWA/MKKS
