Winger Si Thu Aung transfers to Thai League-II club

Myanmar winger Si Thu Aung has joined the Thai League-II club Samut Prakan. The official announcement of Si Thu Aung’s transfer to Samut Prakan, with the designated jersey No 77, was made by the team on 1 January.
While he initially played abroad in 2019, he returned to Myanmar after just one season. The move to Samut Prakan signifies his fourth stint with a foreign club, having previously played for Thai League-I club Chon Buri, as well as Thai League-II clubs Ayutthaya United and Chainat.
Si Thu Aung has been a longstanding member of both the Myanmar youth and senior national teams. Notably, he excelled in the Myanmar U-23 team, contributing to their success in securing the silver medal at the 2015 Singapore SEA Games. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZW
