Myanmar Music Association to pay respects to veteran musicians

Myanmar Music Association (Central) Chairman U Lwin Myint said the 13th annual ceremony to pay respects to senior musicians will be held on 30 December. This event is held every year, and about 120 veteran musicians will be honoured this year.
“This year is the 13th time that the ceremony of respect -paying will be held. We will hold the ceremony on 30 December. Musicians will pay respects to older musicians. Officials from the association will later pay respects to some veteran musicians at their homes as they can’t attend the event. The venue for the event will be at Sky Star Hotel, Tamway,” U Lwin Myint said.
The Myanmar Music Association (Central) will pay respect to over 75-year-old musicians who are former singers, composers, recorders, guitarists and so on. — ASH/KZL
