The Myanmar Embassy to Japan announced on 30 November that over 800 Myanmar workers will be recruited.
The embassy verified 288 demand letters from 16 to 30 November. The Myanmar Embassy is also verifying with a labour company whether the companies and factories recruiting Myanmar workers are legally established in Japan.
The remarks and findings on those verifications will be returned to the Ministry of Labour via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
