Yangon Mayor inspects livestock special zone project in Twantay, Hlinethaya

Chairman of the Yangon City Development Committee (Mayor) U Bo Htay, along with responsible officials, visited Twantay Township on 12 November. The visit included inspections of the special farming zone near Talokhtaw village, the fish farms in Farming Zone 1, the completion of goat poultry farms, Napier grass planting, and a visit to the broiler farm (Hyline Brown) at Golden Gate Global Myanmar Pte Ltd, U Win Thiha Maung and Shwe Htoo Min Company Limited. Additionally, the officials visited goat farms and rubber farms of Farming Zone 2 conducted follow-ups, inspected the conditions for Myanmar chicken farming, and gave necessary instructions.
In Zone 1 of Livestock Special Zone, there are 554 goats, 10,500 chickens, and 2,000 ducks. It is reported that the remaining breeding operations will continue to be implemented.
Afterwards, the mayor and his team checked 1,000 ducks and 60 pigs at the Hteinbin dump Hlinethaya (West) township, of the Urban Environmental Conservation and Sanitation Department. They then visited concrete mixure plant of the Engineering Department (Roads and Bridges) on Magway Street, Ward 8 in Hlinethaya (East) Township. They inspected raising of 1,000 layers on the factory premises and addressed any identified needs. — MNA/KZW
