Two Nawalawha Yadanapada Buddha’s Footprints cast in bronze placed at Shwedagon Pagoda

The consecration ceremony of two Nawalawha Yadanapada Buddha’s Footprints cast in bronze was held at the Bawdi Mandaing Prayer Hall of the Shwedagon Pagoda on 19 October.
It was dedicated to U Aung Aung Moe’s Pyaewa Myanmar handicraft bronze casting industry in Tampawadi, Mandalay, under the auspices of Hla Yadana Sayadaw.
Presiding Monk Hlayadana Sayadaw of Nyaungdon Monastery placed an order for two new Nawalawha Yadanapada Buddha’s Footprints at Pyaewa Myanmar, handicraft bronze casting industry in Mandalay run by U Aung Aung Moe, to replace the decayed former Buddha’s footprints pagodas.
The footprints were brought from Mandalay on 14 October and kept at the Bawdi Mandaing Prayer Hall of the Shwedagon Pagoda on 19 October. — TWA/CT
