Tourists thrilled on Star Ferry’s Pansodan-Thanlyin route along Yangon River

According to Star Ferry Service, a significant number of passengers aboard the Star Ferry’s Pansodan-Thanlyin cruise on the Yangon River.
That trip is a Star Ferry route that connects Star City Housing in Thanlyin Township to Pansodan jetty in Kyauktada Township.
At present, Water Bus cruises have been suspended, but there are reports of a connection between the jetty near the Thanlyin Star City Housing and the Yangon Innovation Centre Terminal near the Pansodan port.
For this trip, it takes approximately one hour to travel from Pansodan jetty to Thanlyin Star City. The Star Ferry operates daily from 7 am to 7 pm, and the ticket price for each passenger is set at K3,500 per trip.
It has been reported that people interested in taking photos of the harbour, the port, and sightseeing spots within Star City Housing, while enjoying the Yangon River Thanlyin-Pansodan boat trip, have expressed their intention to do so. — ASH/KZW
