Myanmar women’s squad arrives in China for Asian Games

Myanmar women’s football team has arrived in China to compete in the XIX Asian Games, as stated by the Myanmar Football Federation.
Team Myanmar left Thailand for China in the early morning of 19 September.
As a final preparation for the Asian Games, the Myanmar team trained in Thailand for more than a week, and after playing two friendly matches, went directly to China.
The Myanmar women’s squad is the first to compete in the Asian Games, falling in the same group as the Philippines, Hong Kong and South Korea.
Myanmar will play against South Korea on 22 September, the Hong Kong team on 25 September and the Philippines on 28 September.
Japanese head coach Uki Tetsuro will handle the team Myanmar which is composed of star players including goalie May Zin Nwe, defenders: Zune Yuya Oo and Phyu Phyu Win, midfielders: Khin Mo Mo Tun and Naw Htet Htet Wai and strikers: Win Theingi Tun and San Thaw Thaw. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
