Qatari Charge d’affaires calls on MoFA Union Minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Dr Rashid Abdulla M A Al-Kuwari, Chargé d’affaires of Qatar, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
They cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to promoting the existing friendly relations and bilateral cooperation, including the areas of trade, investment, and cultural exchanges, accelerating ongoing negotiations of bilateral agreements, repatriating the verified displaced persons from Rakhine State, and enhancing collaboration in the regional and international arenas, particularly under the frameworks of ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council (ASEAN-GCC) and the United Nations. — MNA
