SAC Member attends awarding ceremony of Kayah State 24th Performing Arts Competition

The awarding ceremony of the Kayah State 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition took place in Loikaw yesterday.
State Administration Council Member Porel Aung Thein attended the event along with the state chief minister, the regional control command commander and officials of relevant departments and organizations.
Speaking at the event, Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin said a total of 369 candidates participated in state-level competition this year. The winners will be trained by qualified trainers to win the medals at national-level competitions. Therefore, the state government will provide the necessary things.
Then, the SAC member, the state chief minister and officials presented cash awards, medals, and certificates of honour to the winners of state-level competition and judges.
At noon, the SAC member and party inspected the Technological University (Loikaw) and Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Loikaw).
They also inspected the construction of a two-storey dormitory that can accommodate 160 students in the compound of Technological University (Loikaw) and the displayed photos, sports-related materials, dormitories and the library of the Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Loikaw). — MNA/KTZH
