Myanmar, India see cooperation in transport, communications, education and IT sectors

Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo held talks with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mr Vinay Kumar at the ministry yesterday afternoon.
They talked about cooperation in transport and communications sector between Myanmar and India.
Similarly, U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Vinay Kumar, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar, at 10:30 am on 4 September 2023 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the call, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing friendly bilateral relations, mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas including education and IT sectors, accelerating the implementation of Myanmar-India bilateral projects on the basics of mutual benefit, promotion of trade including the border trade and commerce, coordination for the consular related matters as well as loser collaboration both in the regional and international fora, including ASEAN and United Nations. — MNA/TTA
