Foreign diplomats visit Taungpyoletwal Reception Centre, Hlaphoekhaung Transit Camp in Rakhine State

Heads of foreign embassies to Myanmar and diplomats alongside with Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing visit houses and land plots of the Taungpyoletwal Reception Centre in Maungtaw, Rakhine State, on 2 September 2023.

A mission including heads of foreign embassies to Myanmar and diplomats led by Union Minister at the Union Government Office 2 U Ko Ko Hlaing who is also Vice-Chair 1 of the Rakhine State Stability, Peace and Development Work Coordination Committee visited Taungpyoletwal Reception Centre where they toured the repatriation facilities in Rakhine State’s Maungtaw Township yesterday.
They also proceeded to South Kyeinchaung village, where the returnees will be resettled, to inspect the constructed homes and land plots.
On arrival at the Hlaphoekhaung Transit Camp, they heard the report on preparations for the returnees regarding their temporary stays and humanitarian assistance. — MNA/KTZH
