People are seen hurdling in the middle of floodwaters.

Due to persistent heavy rainfall in Bago, the water level of the Bago River has exceeded the hazardous mark (880 centimetres) and risen to 937 centimetres. This has led to water inundation in the lower areas of Bago township and overflow onto the old Yangon-Mandalay highway within the same area.
Authorities are actively offering essential aid to individuals and vehicles navigating through the submerged Kyunthaya ward, Gaungsaykyun, and Minn road connecting Zaiganaing (North) ward and Zaiganaing (South) ward, to prevent potential accidents.
A total of 13 relief camps have been established to accommodate those affected by the flooding in low-lying areas and villages. Officials and generous contributors are supplying clean drinking water, sustenance, and medications to flood victims. — Thet Phyo Kyaing (IPRD)/MKKS
