Negotiations on increasing export of industrial products, industrial raw materials and fishery products held

The Deputy Minister for Commerce recently said that they are working together with the respective departments to facilitate import and export and provide sufficient fuel to the industrial zones at the coordination meeting related to increasing exports of agricultural produce, cotton, CMP and industrial products, industrial raw materials, and fishery products that was held at the UMFCCI.
At the meeting, UMFCCI President U Aye Win also said that three business coordination meetings on export promotion were held at the federation, and there were 41 findings. An Awareness Workshop was also held at the federation to ensure a clear understanding of the Central Bank of Myanmar’s directives related to AD banks, export, and import.
Officials from the Myanmar Rice Federation, Myanmar Rice and Paddy Traders Association, Myanmar Pulses, Beans, Maize, and Sesame Merchants Association, Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association, Cotton Product Merchants and Manufacturers Association, Myanmar Fisheries Processors and Exporters Association, Myanmar Fisheries Federation, Myanmar Livestock Federation, and Myanmar Industries Association presented the challenges and difficulties encountered on the ground in their respective sectors for discussion at the meeting. — TWA/CT
