Myanmar-Indian experts cooperate in restoring precious golden sketches in Ananda Temple’s tunnel

According to the Department of Archaeology and National Museum, experts from Myanmar and India are jointly working on the cleaning of golden sketches in the Ananda temple’s tunnel.
The work started in the first week of June, and currently, work process has completed by 50 per cent.
The Ananda Temple, located in Bagan’s ancient cultural area, is being restored in collaboration with Indian experts. Those Indian experts are also maintaining ancient building No 1600 Nathlaungkyaung, ancient building No 235 Thagyapone temple, and ancient building No 225 Myataung brick monastery without losing original works. — TWA/KZW
