Maha United beat Rakhine United 3-1 in MNL Week-12

Maha United defeated Rakhine United 3-1 in the Week-12 match of the Myanmar National League held at Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Yangon yesterday. The two teams that have strengthened and recruited new players met in the mid-season transfer period and the Maha United team managed to win.
With the victory, Maha United reached the 3rd place in the standing table. The Rakhine United team is still in the middle of the points table due to the defeat. Both teams used main players and launched opening attacks from the start. Thet Naing scored first and second goals for Maha United at 36 and 57 minute and the third and winning goal was scored at 90+4 minute by Kaung Myat Thu. A single or consolation goal for Rakhine United was scored by Kaung Si Thu at 90+3 minute. Regarding the good performance, the best player award went to Thet Naing, star player of Maha United. Hanthawady United will take on Myawady FC at Thuwunna Stadium today and ISPE FC will play against Shan United at YUSC Stadium today. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
