YRIC gives green light to seven foreign investment enterprises

The Yangon Region Investment Committee approved seven foreign investment projects valued at US$7.114 million on 28 June.According to the YRIC, such an approval is expected to generate employment opportunities for more than 4,000 local workers.
The approved projects include garment manufacturing using the Cut-Make-Pack (CMP) system, bed manufacturing, footware production and the manufacturing and export of construction materials.
In addition, during the 6/2023 meeting held at the YRIC office in Yankin Township, Yangon Region, on the same day, the committee addressed various general matters raised by 14 companies. — TWA/CT
