Drugs seized in Hpa-an, Mogok and Dagon (South) townships

Two offenders are seen along with seized drugs and a motorbike.

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched the house of Tin Ko Ko (aka) Kala in 53 Ward in Dagon (South) township at noon on 18 June and arrested Tin Ko Ko (aka) Kala and Myo Ko Ko (aka) Pho Thee together with 2,000 stimulant tablets.
Moreover, the police force stopped and searched a motorbike driven by Ahsar on Hpa-an- Myawady road near Toungna village in Hpa-an township at 9:30 am on 19 June and seized 2,000 stimulant tablets.
A combined team including members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a motorbike driven by Jaw Rain Gon near Satinnpyant village in Mogok township at 5:30 pm on the same day and caught 4,750 stimulant tablets.
After making some interrogations, the police also arrested Kyi Khaing who waited to accept the drugs at a bridge near Bawbadan village in Mogok at 7:30 pm on the same day.
Offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
