MoC Union Minister attends relevant forums at BIMSTEC Business Conclave

Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo and Myanmar officials seen attending the forum of the BIMSTEC Business Conclave in India yesterday.

Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo participated as the guest of honour in the forums organized by the BIMSTEC Business Conclave in Kolkata, Republic of India yesterday.
The BIMSTEC Agriculture and Food Forum took place in Ballroom One at the Hyatt Regency Kolkata Hotel from 9:45 am to 12:00 pm local time in India. Dr Myo Lwin, Vice-Chairman of the Myanmar Beans, Maize, and Sesame Traders Association, and economist Dr Zaw Oo, the Executive Director of the Economic and Social Development Centre, were panellists in the discussion.
Additionally, the Union minister attended the Gem Forum held in the Guchhi Hall of the Hyatt Regency Kolkata Hotel, where U Myint Han, Chairman of the Myanmar Gems and Jeweller Entrepreneurs Association, participated as a panellist.
Later in the day, the Union minister also attended the BIMSTEC Women’s Forum in Ballroom One, as well as the BIMSTEC Education Forum in the Guchhi Hall. In the BIMSTEC Education Forum, Daw Khin Thet Maw, Vice-Chairperson of the Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs’ Association, and Daw Win Ei Khaing, founder of the Streamline Training-Learning Centre and an MWEA member, participated as panellists. — MNA/TS
