Chinese Ambassador Mr Chen Hai calls on Union Minister U Than Swe yesterday.

U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Chen Hai, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, yesterday at the MGallery Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed matters pertaining to further consolidation of the existing Pauk-Phaw relations and expansion of cooperation between Myanmar and China, the successful signing of Agreements of Cooperation Projects between Myanmar and China in commemorating the 73rd Anniversary of Myanmar-China diplomatic relations on 8 June 2023, continued implementation of Myanmar-China bilateral projects, smooth flow of border trade, maintenance of peace and stability along the border areas between Myanmar and China as well as a closer collaboration under regional and multilateral frameworks. — MNA
