Fourth batch of ASEAN countries’ humanitarian assistance for Mocha victims received

A Malaysian Airlines plane carrying over 19 tonnes of emergency supplies worth over US$72,000 arrived at Yangon International Airport yesterday morning.
The relief items were sent from ASEAN countries to assist those affected by Cyclone Mocha.
An official from the AHA Centre, Director U Than Soe of the Natural Disaster Management Centre of Yangon Region and officials checked the supplies, which will be handed over to the people in the Mocha-affected areas.
Included in the relief supplies that arrived yesterday were 450 shelter tool kits, 450 packs of the shelter tool kit, 20 cartons of family tents, one carton of the water filtration system, two cartons of water filtration system (pump) and 262 tarpaulin sheets. — MNA/MKKS
