Tatmadaw planes transport relief goods to Rakhine State

Relief items are loaded aboard the Tatmadaw aircraft to deliver them to Rakhine State.

Tatmadaw sends relief teams to Cyclone Mocha-hit areas and transports the foodstuffs, relief items and materials provided by Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) families, donors and the National Disaster Management Committee by using Tatmadaw aircraft, helicopters and vessels.
In such doing, Tatmadaw planes transported foodstuffs, medical supplies, construction materials, relief items, tents, clothes, personal items and other materials donated by Tatmadaw members, natural disaster rescue and relief teams, departmental staff and ASEAN countries four times from Mingaladon airport to Sittway airport yesterday.
Officials received the goods and will distribute them systematically to the respective regions. — MNA/KTZH
