MoI Deputy Minister inspects information activities in Sittway

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint arrived at the MRTV retransmission station in Sittway yesterday morning and assigned the station manager and engineers on the duty of clearing up the 100-metre tower that collapsed in the storm to cover the equipment so that it would not be damaged.
Afterwards, the deputy minister inspected the construction of the 30-metre tower and the selection of the site for the temporary replacement. He called for quick construction to resume retransmission.
Then, the deputy minister viewed the sub-printing house and warehouses of the News And Periodicals Enterprise (Sittway) and gave the necessary instructions. The deputy minister also inspected the cleanup measures at the Sittway District Office of the Department of Information and Public Relations and left the proper instructions. — MNA/TS
