136 Myanmar citizens return from Thailand

Medical devices for prevention of COVID-19 were donated to the Maekanae quarantine centre in Myawady in 2020.

A total of 136 Myanmar migrant workers who wish to return home arrived on 4 April via the Myawady-Mae Sot Bridge II.
Out of them, those from the Bago region, Mon state and Taninthayi region will stay at the Saemyonae quarantine centre in Mawlamyine township of Mon state for 10 days.
Those from other regions and states will be monitored at the Maekanae quarantine centre in Myawady township of Kayin state for 10 days. They will be sent back to their home towns after receiving medical checkups to ensure that they have no Covid-19. — TWA/MKKS
