MRF to offer Rice Processing Technology Course in May

Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) will offer a Rice Processing Technology Course with certificates in the upcoming May, including technical and practical approaches.
The Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry, MRF and the Myanmar Rice Millers Association arranged this program.
The course is a two-month course offering drying rice crops, storing, milling and possessing post-harvest technologies by experts under the public-private partnership.
The trainees must hold at least a bachelor’s degree or diploma or AGTI Diploma, B Tech degree, or BE degree. Education criteria will be eased for those engaged in rice mills and paddy companies depending on job experiences.
Those who successfully pass the tests with active attendance will receive a certificate. The trainees will also have job opportunities to work for the rice mills.
Those enthusiastic can enrol by 28 April, presenting a registration form, a copy of the citizenship scrutiny card and household registration certificate, a recommendation letter from the ward administrator, education certificates, a referee from the supervisor or employer and three passport-sized photos.
